eGestalt Inc. announced the launch of its Managed Compliance Provider (MCP) channel program that enables service providers including value-added resellers (VARs), managed services providers (MSPs) and managed security services providers (MSSPs) to deliver an IT-GRC solution as a monthly subscription.

In June 2010 eGestalt announced SecureGRC , a cloud computing and software-as-a-service (SaaS) IT-GRC application that addresses all the enterprise needs around information security, compliance and risk management and provides automation and integration of policy controls to manage security and IT-GRC related issues. The combined security monitoring and IT-GRC solution provides automation and integration of policy controls in a ready-to-use framework that includes context-based inference engines, alert processing, logging and monitoring.

The Managed Compliance Provider (MCP) program is based around a proprietary “cookbook”, that explains in simple steps how to get started with the managed compliance offering, through creation of collateral, training, implementation, and delivery, on-going play-books as the business is up and running, and everything in between.

“SecureGRC and the MCP Program has helped accelerate Akibia's AssuredCompliance Service, by automating a number of functions that were previously manual,” said Robert Klotz, VP of Technology at Akibia, based in Westborough, Mass. Since 1988, Akibia has been a leading provider of data center, network and security services.

“This is not just patch management or vulnerability scanning; this is a comprehensive, all inclusive solution to get customers into and keep them in compliance with the major regulations such as PCI, SOX, HIPAA, ISO and many other regulations,” added Klotz.

“Our MCP program is designed to benefit service providers including MSPs, MSSPs and security Distributors and VARs who wish to offer their clients a high-margin, recurring-revenue based managed compliance service in the lucrative security and IT-GRC space. This channel partner program is unprecedented in the industry. By delivering a cloud based security and compliance solution through SecureGRC, we are enabling channel partners to offer managed compliance services with minimal touch to their customers at unprecedented cost of ownership that our customers have been asking for,” said Anupam Sahai, president, eGestalt.

“What’s more, our managed compliance GRC solution is highly competitive since it offers a low-cost, high-value monthly subscription based, pay-as-you-grow alternative, finally making it affordable for small and mid-size organizations that operate in highly regulated industries,” added Sahai.

SecureGRC comprises the following ready-to-use compliance control kits: PCI-DSS 1.2, ISO 27001/27002, Cobit, Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX), HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and other country specific frameworks that are ready to use out-of-the-box.  Forthcoming is support for Basel II Accord and FISMA.

eGestalt is looking for qualified channel partners who want to help their clients solve and automate the complexities and high costs associated with maintaining and enforcing compliance around PCI, SOX, HIPAA, GLBA and other mandatory government and industry regulations that burden most business operations.
