Architecture Technology Corp (ATC) has joined the EDGE Innovation Network, a collaborative, open-environment initiative enabling industry and academia, with government input, to work together to enhance the delivery cycle of new technologies and innovative capabilities to warfighters and first responders.

Pete Palmer, director of the EDGE Innovation Network said, “The EDGE provides an open, collaborative environment where product and technology developers work with government personnel to facilitate the rapid development of equipment and technologies that fill critical capability gaps.”

Sponsored by General Dynamics C4 Systems, there are twelve EDGE Innovation Centers worldwide and over 325 EDGE members. Recent new members include Juniper Networks, Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif.; Human Factor Research Group, Millstadt, Ill.; University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tenn.;  Melvin M. May Associates, Manasquan, N.J.; and Simplicity Technologies, Scottsdale, Ariz..
