NetAuthority, a leader in device-centric authentication, has announced the general availability of DeviceLink 2.0. With its latest release, NetAuthority has delivered its patented device authentication technology as a single or multi-tenant authentication engine, which can be deployed by enterprises and online service providers for secure access to mobile and online applications.

NetAuthority DeviceLink provides high performance device authentication, enabling customers or administrators to authorize and link specific devices to accounts and prevent fraudulent access from unauthorized devices. DeviceLink turns the device itself into a powerful authentication factor, delivering sub-second device authentication without requiring anything else for the end-user to have, know or do.

Key Benefits:

  • Enables seamless multi-factor authentication – nothing else to have, know or do
  • Strengthens and protects existing username and password-based authentication
  • Delivers invisible, sub-second, mass-deployable device authentication
  • Works with all major web browsers and mobile application platforms
  • Generates unique, attribute-based device keys for each authentication session
  • Utilizes industry standard, FIPS 140-2 compliant data encryption modules
  • Simple deployment, provisioning, management, and reporting capabilities
  • Includes secure service API’s for easy integration into existing applications

“We continue to deepen the power and capability of our device authentication technology which raises the bar for security and ease of use,” said Talbot Harty, President and CTO of NetAuthority. “DeviceLink enables our customers to deploy our patented device authentication technology directly into their own application and security infrastructure, providing them with complete control over their security solution.”

"Organizations across the public and private sectors are rapidly expanding their use of mobile devices for access to highly sensitive business applications, communications and content," said Bruce Gilley, President of Fixmo US, a leading provider of mobile security and risk management solutions for enterprise and government. "As they do so, they are looking for new ways to secure mobile communications and to validate the identity of users and the devices to prevent unauthorized access to private business assets. NetAuthority's unique DeviceLink authentication engine has emerged as a powerful solution for verifying the integrity and identity of the device itself, and to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access to online services and mobile applications.”

“We are very excited about this new release. The on-premise version of NetAuthority’s DeviceLink is the solution that our customers are looking to deploy and we are looking forward to getting it into their hands,” said Lisa Partridge, President, XYPRO, a leading provider of mission-critical security solutions for the HP NonStop server platform and an authorized global reseller of NetAuthority.
